To proclaim the grace of salvation and to mature the congregation in God's love, power, and truth.

We are not a church that promises a life without trouble. We believe in a grace larger than the trouble — and in a community willing to walk it with you, week after week, without rushing the process.

What Is Worship Like at GKJ Tangerang?

In worship, together we praise God, listen to His Word, pray, and respond to His truth in our daily lives. Walk through our order of service with us.

Direct answers, no preamble.

01What should I wear?
Whatever you are comfortable in. On any given Sunday you will see batik, button-downs, t-shirts and sandals in the same room. Nobody is counting.
02What about my kids?
Sunday School runs alongside Morning Service II at 10am. Walk your child to the Sunday School room, write your name and mobile number on the pickup sheet, and collect them with the same numbered card. Babies and toddlers are welcome to stay with you in the sanctuary.
03Where do I park?
The church yard takes both cars and motorbikes, and an attendant directs traffic during service hours. If the yard is full, the shoulder in front of the church is normally used — the attendant will show you where.
04What are the facilities like?
Restrooms are off the corridor, near the café. The sanctuary is on the ground floor and step-free for wheelchair access. For a nursing room or any other need, mention it to someone at the door and it will be arranged.
05What if I am late?
Just come in. The side door by the corridor stays open through the service, and the back rows are deliberately kept free for exactly this.
06What language is the service in?
Indonesian. Some songs are in English, and this site is available in both languages. If you need language support, message the secretariat ahead of time.

Sunday School runs alongside Morning Service II every Sunday at 10:00 AM. Children learn God's Word through Bible lessons, prayer, praise, and age-appropriate activities.

How to Give

Offerings can be given during the service, or at any time through the QRIS code and bank transfer below. Giving is voluntary — each person gives as they have decided in their heart.

Where it goes

Offerings fund church operations, member discipleship, and social service. Financial reports are read out in congregational meetings and are available to members through the Member Portal.
